Annuities are commonly recommended by insurance professionals but are not easy to understand. In this session, the presenter will review the reasons people are drawn to annuities and show advisors how easy it is to understand the benefits for retirement planning, particularly how annuities can provide guaranteed retiree income. The program will also examine the complexity of annuities and the costs and benefits of riders.

• Learn features of single-premium immediate annuities
• Understand how these annuities and their riders can benefit consumers in their retirement planning
Speaker Bio:
Jerry Skapyak, LUTCF, an expert in retirement funding risk management solutions, spent a number of years climbing the ranks of two top-rated insurance companies, Zurich Life Insurance Company and Western-Southern Financial Group, before joining LLIS in Tampa, FL, in 2008 as an annuity/hybrid specialist. During his ascent, he handled product development, intelligence analysis, and advisor services.
Jerry’s 26 years in this industry analyzing, studying, and researching annuity solutions have made him the go-to guy for advisors with clients seeking to ensure they don’t outlive their savings. He is skilled at assessing clients’ needs and the benefits most important to them, then tailoring the right solution to fit their unique circumstances.
